About us

We built BreedMate after seeinghow breeders were forced torun important work acrosstools that never worked together.

A Golden Retriever puppy lying down in a breeder's home.

We saw breeders weighing newborns on a whiteboard, tracking buyer deposits in spreadsheets, and answering the same questions across message threads. The work was careful and deeply personal, but the tools made it harder to keep every detail aligned. BreedMate exists to give that work one reliable place to live.

What BreedMate is

One platform.Two apps.

A breeder does two very different jobs: one at the whelping box with gloves on, one at the kitchen table with a laptop open. BreedMate gives each job its own app, and puts the same record underneath both.

Why BreedMate

It keeps everysurface honest

Weigh a puppy, and BreedMate does the rest: it updates the buyer page, checks the pick order, and leaves a note on the buyer's record. Nothing you have to remember to do twice.

01

Your buyer page is included

It is part of the platform, not a second subscription. When a litter changes, the page changes with it, without another tab to remember.

Why one record matters

Yellow collar islosing weight

Day 12 of Bella's litter. Six puppies are gaining as expected. Yellow has dropped 15 g since yesterday. It is the first sign of a fading puppy.

You weigh her, and that's the end of your involvement. The app flags her, your buyer page moves her to Under review so nobody enquires about a puppy you're worried about, and your pick order refuses to assign her until she's gaining again. One number, typed once, with gloves on. You didn't open a laptop and you didn't update a listing.

Dogs and cats

Cats are not asettings toggle

Gestation, heat cycles, registries and health panels are all different for a Ragdoll than for a Golden. BreedMate knows which species it's looking at and changes the calendar, the health panel and the vocabulary to match.

Testimonials

Don't take ourword for it

Breeders were already running real litters on BreedMate. These are a few things they said once weights, buyers and pick order shared one record.

"Weigh once, with gloves on, and the pick order already knows before I've washed my hands. That's the whole difference."
Rachel WhitfieldWillowbrook Retrievers · Somerset
"Moving three years of records over took an afternoon, and it was far less painful than the spreadsheet it replaced."
Priya SharmaMoonshadow Ragdolls · Bristol
"The moment that stood out was a buyer answering their own question from the page before I'd even opened the app."
Hannah MitchellBluebell Cats · Hampshire
"Collection day used to be a folder hunt at midnight. Now every document is already with the right family."
Dan CarterCopperfield Goldens · Oxfordshire
"A weight drop used to read as 'is it the pen?' Now a 15 g dip flags itself and waits for me."
Sophie BennettMarlow Cattery · Bath
"Every feed and medication note lives in the same quiet routine by the box. Nothing slips on the night rounds."
Emily HartleyHartley Goldens · York
"Two families asked about the same puppy and I had one clear answer in seconds. That used to mean a phone tree."
Tom O'LearyAshford Retrievers · Devon
"The litter record became something the whole team trusts, not just the person who typed it in."

Early access

Be one of thefirst kennels

We're taking on a small group of breeders to run real litters through BreedMate while we're still building it. We want breeders whose next whelping is close enough that they'll actually use it in anger.

Free while we build

No card, no trial clock counting down in the corner. You pay nothing until BreedMate does the whole job you need it to do.

Your way of working shapes it

Tell us how you actually run pick order, deposits and collection day. We'd rather build around a real kennel than an average of everyone's.

We move your records across

Send us the spreadsheet you're using now and we'll get your animals, litters, weights and buyers in for you. You don't retype three years of anything.

Twenty minutes, your own breed and litter sizes. Or look around first. The dashboard and mobile app are both open, no login.
